Trekking in Himalayas

Himachal Pradesh
Himachal has beautiful valleys and passes which is a trekker's delight. The glacier line in Himachal is closer than any other region in Himalayas.

In Himachal you can enjoy trekking over Dhauladhar Range, Pir Panjal Range, Zanskar Valley and great Himalayan Range.

Presence of streams, fruit-laden orchards and dense forests makes trekking in Himachal Pradesh a refreshing and a memorable experience.

Ideal trekking season: June to October.
Ladakh
Ladakh is bounded by the two powerful mountains of the world Karakoram and The Great Himalayas. It lies across Zanskar and Ladakh Range.

Zanskar a sub-division of Kargil , is famous for its magnificent mountains and intense winters.

The region offers some of the best trekking options in the world and you can enjoy awesome sceneries and culture of Ladakh during your adventure trip.

Ideal trekking season: July and August and early September to mid-October.
Garhwal
Apart from snow clad high mountains there are valleys, lakes, streams, forests and floral delights which makes trekking in Garhwal a delightful experience. Trekking options in Garhwal are numerous and the grade differs from easy, moderate to strenuous. Nanda Devi, Valley of flowers and Dodi Tal are some of the famous trekking routes of this region.

Garhwal also has four holy shrines of Hindus: Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri.

Ideal trekking Season: Summer (April to October): trekking upto 4628m Winter (November to March): trekking upto 2500m.
Kumaon
Peaks and passes around the glaciers of Kumaon attract trekkers from all over the world.

Trekking expeditions can be undertaken in Kumaon throughout the year. Pindari Glacier, Kafni Glacier, Sundergunda Glacier are among the important trek routes of Kumaun.

This region is blessed with snowcapped peaks,rolling meadows, clear glaciers, dense forests, rambling rivers, beautiful waterfalls and valleys.

Ideal trekking season: May to October.
Sikkim
Sikkim is situated in the Eastern Himalayas. Trekkers should be prepared to face stormy weather as snow storms can develop at high altitudes.

Popular treks of this region are Dzongri-Goecha La Trek, Singalila trek and Neora valley trek. The treks in Sikkim region pass through beautiful Buddhist Gompas, hamlets and alpine forest which offer a wide variety of flora and fauna.

Ideal trekking Season: Mid-February to May and again from October to December.
