Siniolchu peak rises on the southern side of the Zemu Glacier. It is situated on the water shed between Zemu Glacier and Passanram. Douglas Freshfield a famous mountaineer of his time called Siniolchu the most beautiful Peak on this earth.
Team of Paul Bauers climbed the peak for the first time in 1936. They approached the peak from Zemu Glacier and reached the ridge which falls between Little Sinolchu, 6538m and Sinolchu. Then from there they climbed the peak.
A German Swiss expedition made second ascent to the peak in 1937. for the third time it was climbed by an Indian team in 1979.
