synopsis: Mentok means flower in Tibetan. In July and August the entire Korzok valley is blooming with flowers, giving the peak its name.
The peak is situated on long ridge running south from the Korzok village.
To its east lies Tso Moriri and to the west is the Phirtse Phu valley.
