synopsis: Hardeol, also called the Temple of God, has been ascended by only a few. In 1974 four members of an Indo-Newzealand ladies team was killed in 1974 in its lower icefall. In 1975 an I.T.B.P team was unsuccessful. In 1978 I.T.B.P again made an attempt and was successful in climbing it from the southern side.
