Height: 6559 Location: Head of Kalaband Glacier Glacier: Kalaband Best Climbing Season: May-June, September - October Grade: Very Tough Accessibility: Open synopsis: This peak is located at the head of Kalaband glacier. This peak is not visible until the icefall is climbed. It has a steep rising face and sharp ridges. An unsuccessful attempt to climb it was made in 1977. In 1979 it was ascended for the first time from the northeast ridge. This peak has many steep routes and it’s subsidiary peaks, Chiring We II and III still have to be climbed. |
