synopsis: It is one of the attractions of Kumaon region in Uttaranachal. Changuch peak rises above the Pindari glacier and the ridge which it offers leads to Nandakot Peak. It can be accessed through Khati ,Song (RH), Khet-Dhakuri and Lohar. In the past this peak had beaten attempts made to it. During 1987 an attempt was made to ascent the peak by an Indo-British team from the Pindar valley but it could not be completed because of unstable rocks. In 1997 an attempt was made by a British team by using Pindari glacier as the base camp but bad weather thwarted a successful attempt.
