Synopsis:
Located in West Sikkim , Near Mt Kanchenjunga is Rathong glacier. It is the source for River Rangit which is a major tributary for river Teesta. Rathong glacier serves as an ideal trekking base. Chaurithang falls are located at Rathong glacier. It serves as the base camp for world famous Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling.
