Synopsis:
It is located on the south facing slopes of Karakoram ranges in Baltistan area of Ladakh. With a length of around 60 km, it descends from a large glacial trough. The main stream which originates from this glacier flows into the Shigar river. At various points this glacier is fed by small valley glaciers. There is no vegetation on this track. Biafo glacier and Hispar glacier meet at 5151 m.
