Synopsis: 
Located on the slopes of main Himalayas is the Chandra glacier which is separated from Bara Shigri glacier. Bhaga river originates from Chandra Glacier. It is the reason behind the formation of Chandertal Lake. This lake is surrounded by snow and scree. This lake is also called the lake of Moon. This lake is the source of river Chandra.
