The stream of water produced due to the melting of snow on the glacier called Dingad, merges with the other snow melted streams and finally becomes one with the Bhagirathi river near Bukki village. About 2 kms. below the nose of the glacier, there resides other mature grasslands and Pro glacial lakes. These grasslands and other water bodies speak out the history of the glacier and also serve good camping sites.
