Pelling

Situated in West Sikkim is the town of Pelling at an altitude of 7200 ft. It is situated 10 km from the district headquarters of Geyzing. A magnificent view of the Kanchenjanga and Himalayas can be seen from Pelling. Pelling serves as a base for trekkers and who undertake treks to Western sikkim. The land around Pelling is virgin and is covered with alpine vegetation and waterfalls along the hillside. Pelling is located 115 km from the state capital of Gangtok.

Airport:
