It is subdivision of Lahaul & Spiti district and is headquarted at Kaza. Spiti is known as the valley of monasteries. It is also called Little Tibet because they are similar in terms of vegetation,climate and terrain. Spiti valley is divided into eastern and western valleys. Spiti is known for it’s haunting beauty.
