The beautiful valley of Kullu is situated on the either side of river Beas. It runs north to south of the river. It is place for those people who want to avoid the city stress and experience the bliss and tranquility of the Himalayas. Kullu is known for it’s hand woven shawls and caps.
Earlier it was known as Kulanthpitha meaning the end of the habitatable world. It is world over fampous for it’s Dussehra festival. Decorated processions are carried out to pay homage to the deity Raghunathji and this festival is marked by singing,dancing and festivity.
